Where do you deliver?
With our deliver partners Royal Mail we are able to deliver throughout the united Kingdome including southern Ireland, Scottish highlands and the Channel Islands, However for the highlands and islands and other postcode areas out with the standard delivery fees we have to provide your postal code to enable our delivery partners by request to adjust the postal price accordingly, we will always contact you with Royal mails price guide to ensure you are happy with any additional costs to you for your approval.
Scottish canine work hard in conjunction with our delivery partners to ensure your product arrives with 24 hours.
As we all know, from time to time delivery schedules can be held up due to adverse weather conditions or breakdowns within the system and parcels can be late.
By working closely with our delivery partners these instances are very very few and far between and we would like to reassure our customers that we do everything possible to prevent this from happening in the first place.
When do you deliver?
Orders placed before 12pm are dispatched the same day for delivery.
What is the delivery charge?
Nothing, no delivery charges whatsoever.
However for the highlands and islands and other postcode areas out with the standard delivery fees we have to provide your postal code to enable our delivery partners by request to adjust the postal price accordingly, we will always contact you with Royal mails price guide to ensure you are happy with any additional costs to you for your approval.
As a new customer Royal Mail our delivery partners have gone easy with us for the first six months of our contract with a low delivery charge.
The lower rate allows us to offer our customers free delivery and we take care of the rest.
Do I have to be at home for delivery?
No. You can leave a message with your order telling us where you would like to have your order placed. (This can be found on the final payment page where it says Leave a note) For instance should you requested to have your order left with a neighbour please ensure to let them know that your parcel (If frozen) remains refrigerated if possible.
Our frozen products leave our dispatch at -22c and will stay frozen/chilled for up to 24 hours, so please try to make sure that you can pick up your order within that time.
For how long will my order stay cold?
Before your bone broth leaves our packing area we wrap an insulating lamb’s wool jacket around it to keep it from defrosting as it winds its way to you, at this point the broth is already frozen to -18 to -22c and is then placed back into our freezers as it awaits collection.
Gradually the broth will start to defrost but should still be ice by the time it arrives with you.
If you’re not intending to use the broth strait away we would advise placing it directly back into your freezer or if you intend using it directly place in your refrigerator to properly defrost before use.
